About Don Callaway
I have been a technology professional since 1984–way back in the beginning of the PC industry–when I took a job selling and servicing IBM and Apple computers at a regional retail computer store in Nacogdoches, Texas while attending Stephen F. Austin University.
After receiving my computer science degree from University of Houston Clear Lake, I went on to become a very much in demand IT Professional in the Houston area, specializing in secure wide area network infrastructure and distributed database systems and have managed projects for some of the world’s largest corporations as well as many small and mid-sized businesses. Today I am a self-employed IT Professional and have been concentrating heavily the past year on Wordpress Mu and all the attending web technologies which that implies, which is just about all of them. You can see a partial list of the Wordpress Customization services I offer here.
I am a dedicated father raising two beautiful and intelligent daughters with my wife of many years. I am an avid photographer, play a mean hand of Texas Hold ‘em, love to write about many topics, and enjoy most outdoor activities, especially hiking in the woods, fishing, and kayaking (especially kayak surfing.)
